Queralt is our Ravenstone Site Manager at the nursery and has been working at the nursery since 2018.

She moved from Barcelona to the UK to accept the role as a Spanish Teacher in the nursery, and has progressed through a third in charge role to her current position as Deputy Manager.

​

Queralt is a qualified teacher and holds a QTS certificate which is equivalent to a Level 6 qualification. She has a degree in translation and interpreting and a Master's Degree in teaching.  Queralt also has a Level 2 qualification in leadership and management and continues to grow in her role.When she was working in Spain she gained most of her experience at a Bilingual School as the English Teacher, so has a vast knowledge of teaching foreign languages to children. Queralt also offers adult Spanish classes which are held in an evening in Ashby.

Aside from being a fluent English & Spanish speaker, her native language is Catalan and she also knows some basic Arabic.

​

She has Paediatric First Aid Training along with Designated Safeguarding Lead Training.
